Acceptance

These terms govern your use of Wander, an AI-powered learning app that turns your questions into personalized audio podcasts. By creating an account or using Wander, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

The service

Wander generates podcast scripts and audio in response to prompts you provide, using third-party AI models. The service is offered "as is" and may change as we improve it. We may add, remove, or modify features at any time.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your account secure — protect your login credentials and do not share your account with others. Tell us right away if you suspect unauthorized access. You must be at least 13 years old to use Wander. If you are between 13 and 18 — or under the age of digital consent in your country (which is up to 16 in some EU member states) — you confirm that a parent or guardian agrees to these terms on your behalf.

Acceptable use

Do not use Wander to:

• Generate content that is illegal, harmful, harassing, or sexually explicit involving minors.
• Attempt to deceive or manipulate the AI into producing content that violates these terms or applicable law.
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or attempt to extract the underlying models or our service.
• Resell, sublicense, or redistribute Wander or its generated content as a substitute for the service.
• Interfere with the service's operation or other users.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, with or without notice depending on the severity.

AI-generated content

Wander uses third-party AI models to generate scripts, narration, and images. AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, or out-of-date. Do not rely on Wander as a substitute for professional advice — medical, legal, financial, or otherwise. Verify anything important against authoritative sources.

You are responsible for what you do with content generated by Wander, including any sharing or republishing outside the app.

Intellectual property

All content generated on Wander, including podcast scripts, audio, cover artwork, and any other output the service creates, belongs to Wander. To the extent any rights in generated content would otherwise vest in you, you assign them to us. In return, we grant you a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to listen to, download, and share the podcasts you generate, both inside and outside the app. We encourage sharing; we just ask that you do not resell generated content or pass it off as a competing service.

You keep ownership of the prompts and questions you submit. By submitting them, you grant us a non-exclusive license to host, process, and use them to operate and improve the service, including to generate content from them.

The Wander app, name, logo, and design are ours. You may not use them without permission.

A note on AI output: in many jurisdictions (including the United States), content produced by AI without sufficient human authorship is not eligible for copyright protection. Where that is the case, our ownership of generated content operates as a contractual right between you and us.

Disclaimers and liability

Wander is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from your use of Wander is limited to what you paid us in the past twelve months (which is currently nothing — Wander is free during this beta period). We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Indemnification

You agree to defend and indemnify Wander against any third-party claim, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from (a) the prompts and content you submit, (b) the way you use or share content generated by Wander, or (c) your violation of these terms or applicable law. We will let you know promptly about any such claim and cooperate in good faith.

Termination

You can stop using Wander any time and delete your account from inside the app — Settings → Delete account. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms or to protect the service or other users.

If you got Wander from the Apple App Store

The following applies when you download Wander from the Apple App Store. These terms are between you and Wander only — Apple is not a party to them. Apple has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support for Wander, and is not responsible for handling any product warranty, intellectual-property, or product claims relating to the app. You will use Wander only on Apple-branded products and in line with the Apple Media Services Terms. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you as a user.

If you got Wander from Google Play

The following applies when you download Wander from the Google Play Store. These terms are between you and Wander only — Google is not a party to them. Your use of Wander must also comply with the Google Play Terms of Service. Google has no obligation to provide maintenance, support, or warranty for Wander, and is not responsible for handling claims relating to the app or your use of it. Any subscription you purchase through Google Play will be billed by Google under their standard rules, and refunds are governed by Google Play's policies.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of Wander will be brought exclusively in the competent courts of Tel Aviv–Jaffa, Israel — except that if you are a consumer in the EU, UK, or another jurisdiction with mandatory consumer-protection rules, nothing in this section removes the protections that local law gives you, including the right to bring proceedings in your home court.

Subscriptions and payments

Wander is currently free during this beta period. If we introduce paid subscriptions in the future, the price, billing cycle, free-trial terms, auto-renewal, cancellation, and refund rules will be shown in the app before you are charged. Subscriptions purchased through the Apple App Store are billed by Apple, and subscriptions purchased through Google Play are billed by Google, each under their standard rules.

Export and sanctions

Wander is built on top of US-origin AI services. By using Wander, you confirm that you are not located in a country subject to a US government embargo and not on any US government list of restricted parties.

Changes

We may update these terms as the service evolves. We will update the date at the top, and for material changes we will notify you in the app or by email before they take effect. Continued use of Wander after a change means you accept the updated terms.

General

These terms — together with the Privacy Policy — are the entire agreement between you and Wander about your use of the service. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. If we do not enforce a provision once, that does not mean we are giving it up. You cannot transfer these terms to anyone else without our consent; we may transfer them to a successor as part of a corporate event (acquisition, merger, restructuring).
